(3/22/2019) - More than 650 bags of Better Made potato chips are being recalled due to a packaging error in which the wrong chips were put in the wrong bags.

The recall affects 10-ounce packages of Original Potato Chips with a use by date of Aug. 10. They were distributed to retail stores around Michigan and the United States.

Lot numbers are 62090431442 through 62090431520 and 85100431442 through 85100431520.

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development says the 660 packages marked as Original Potato Chips might actually contain Cheddar and Sour Cream Potato Chips. Those contain allergens, which aren't listed on the bag.

Anyone with the affected chips can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Call Better Made Snacks Foods at 313-925-4774 for more information.
